Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how EasyQRTools(“we”, “us”) handles information when you use www.easyqrtools.com and its QR code generators. In short: the QR codes you create are built entirely in your browser and never sent to us.

The short version

• Your QR content stays on your device. Everything you type into a generator — links, WiFi passwords, phone numbers, wallet addresses, contact details — is processed locally in your browser and is never transmitted to or stored on our servers.
• No account, ever. There is no signup, no login and no profile, so we do not hold a database of users.
• We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which tools are popular, as described below.

Information you provide to the generators

Our QR code tools run as client-side JavaScript. When you enter data into a generator and download a QR code, that data is used only in your browser to render the image. It is not uploaded, logged or retained by us. If you email us, we receive whatever information you choose to include in that message.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we use Google Analytics 4 to measure traffic and improve the site. Google Analytics may collect standard, largely aggregated information such as the pages you visit, the approximate region you are in (derived from your IP address, which Google does not report to us in full), your device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. This helps us see which generators are most useful and where to focus. We do not use this data to personally identify you.

Our web host may also keep standard server logs (for example IP address and requested URL) for security and reliability, as is typical for any website.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish returning visitors and measure sessions. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, use your browser's “Do Not Track” option, or install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to stop analytics data being collected.

Third-party services

We rely on a small number of third parties to run the site:

• Google Analytics for usage measurement — see Google's Privacy Policy.
• Our hosting provider, which serves the website to your browser.

Fonts are self-hosted and served from our own domain, so viewing the site does not request assets from third-party font providers.

How we use information

We use the limited analytics data described above only to operate, maintain and improve EasyQRTools — for example, to decide which new QR code generators to build. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Data retention

Because we do not collect the content of your QR codes, there is nothing for us to retain on that front. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' standard retention settings. Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to respond and keep a reasonable record of correspondence.

Children's privacy

EasyQRTools is a general-purpose tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data a business holds about you. Because we do not maintain accounts or store the content you enter, the main personal data associated with your visit is analytics data held by Google. You can limit that at any time using the cookie and opt-out options above. If you have a question or request, please contact us.

International visitors

EasyQRTools can be accessed worldwide. By using the site, you understand that your usage data may be processed by services (such as Google Analytics) that operate in other countries.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be reflected here, so please check back periodically.
